Scoring unclear in duel online mode. You can win a game and randomly earn 5 points and then lose one immediately after against the same opponent and lose 10 points. You always seem to be losing more than you are winning, regardless of how many games you actually play.

Whats not to like about backgammon? The game is great and I like being able to challenge players online. One of the downsides is the constant ad banners.

Easy to use and great way to play anytime. Dice throwing is quite surprising sometimes.

After playing 20+ games I noticed that during both online and offline gameplay there is a clear display of rigged dice. Often times you are about to win just as long as a certain combination isnt tossed by the opponent (Im not talking about him throwing a 3 when he needs it, but a combination of the two die, such as, him needing exactly a combination of a 5 and a 4 and getting it at the perfect time). While its statistically possible to get such a game altering combination when you need it most, if you play long enough you realize game-altering tosses are consistently placed throughout in this app. While this implies that these tosses can sometimes help you, and sometimes help your opponent (therefore allowing the argument that this would, in theory, imply that the app is fair to both players in its use of loaded dice), the use of dice rigging in this app removes a crucial and irreplaceable component of backgammon: pure chance.

I have been playing this version for months, and I have suspected that the players with scores in the 2000s are cheating. I had one move left on my last game and I was going to win when suddenly my dice rolled by themselves, none of my stones moved, and the other player won on his move. Huh? Ill find another version.

The computer rolls in its favor so much. Plus the moves are so fast. I feel like the computer is cheating. Finding a new app

When play with the computer you can tell that the dice are not random.

Absolutely BS rating system and BS dice rolls!

The pips are too small ,board is blah, the accept double button should be on the right.

As long as you cannot compete with someone for a preset number of games (5 games for instance, or 5 wines), the games dont make sense. Also, since the new update, the program constantly crashes when you are winning the game.

Classic board, clean play, decent AI, and minimal advertising. Great backgammon app!

The interface is really nice and the play is fast and smooth. Unfortunately the dice are so badly loaded when playing the computer . If you have any exposed single peaces on the board the computer throws perfect dice every time to get them . Saying that playing online against an actual person is great , the best app I have found yet for this. Needs a small rewrite to make the dice more random for computer .
