Mathematically impossible for this game to roll the number of doubles, and the exact number it needs ALL the time. Very frustrating. Dont mind losing once in a while against the computer; but this is ridiculous. Cant believe the developers cant fix this.

The roll of the dice are calculated to favor one player. To be fair, the result of rolling the dice should be random. This is the third attempt to post my rating.

For the most part I enjoy the game. Its simple, good looking, and straightforward. But two things can be frustrating: the online scoring/ranking system and the very clear advantage one player somehow randomly receives. When I started playing, wins and losses resulted in changes of around 10 points, whereas now wins give me one point, and losses take away one-three points. This makes it impossible to move anywhere but downward in the ranking system. As for the random advantage, I dont know how it works. But its obvious when you make a crazy move and then need an insanely lucky roll to survive and somehow get it. Or when your opponent rolls obscene amounts of doubles or unique rolls that single out multiple tokens. I hope these are concerns that will be addressed, but seeing how many others have complained, I have little faith they will be.

I downloaded the game a couple weeks back. Ive been switching between medium and hard and there really isnt a difference in the 2 levels, from a skill perspective. There is definitely an advantage the computer has. Ive been playing backgammon for a dozen years and Ive never seen a program favor the computer like this app. It has good graphics, but the role algorithm needs tweaking if they intend to keep users. Out of curiosity, I started counting roles while switching up my playing style and 75% of the time the computer had the advantage.

Theres a difference between a smart AI to increase difficulty levels, and a program that fixes rolls for the in favor of the computer. No one wants to play a cheat game.

Cheats big time! I dont mind losing a fair game, but this isnt a fair game. CHEATS BIG TIME!! Doesnt matter what level you play, the roll of the dice isnt chance, its always calculated. Usually to the favor of the app. Do yourself a favor and pass this app up and get another one. Boycott the advertisers!!!!

I wouldnt have believed it if I hadnt seen it first hand. The computer/AI cheats, not only once, but consistently. The AI ALWAYS gets rolls that it needs to both hit you and that is advantageous. I have played Backgammon for 30 years, and never saw anybody roll the dice the way this program does. Avoid it like the plague.

Yes this game is ridiculously rigged no way even by chance that many times you would loose. Dont even give it the time of day for them to make in ad money!!

The computer gets doubles all the time and you rarely do!

This app is actually such crap. The amount of times my opponents get double 6s when I am about to win is actually absurd. Completely rigged in favor of those with a higher ranking and by no means random rolls.

I like backgommon, but in this app , when i tried to undo , at the same time my friend pressed confirm button and then .. we laughed loadly .. (pushing undo and confirm button cause)

This game is the best. It plays true to the actual board game Its the best!

No sense of competition. Rolls are clearly programmed the games favor. No fun if you think you have no chance of beating game. Strongly suggest you find another game.

I was very skeptical that the game cheats until I counted how many doubles and perfect throws it made during a game where I was soundly beating it. The only double I got was unusable, yet the computer got at least 10 doubles. Im not into self-abuse...uninstalled.

First review Ive every written and I will be deleting this game after I write this. Just cant stand the frustration any longer. No matter who rolls it will work out to the computers favor.

Its a fun game to play even if the program is set to favor the computer most of the time. It is frustrating to watch the comp player roll the exact numbers it needs while I have rolled 8 + times and still had a piece on the bridge. Should feel good about it if you beat the computer, since the dice are weighted in his favor.

The computer cheats and playing online seem suspicious. After playing the computer and getting tired of playing against a rigged system, I switched to only online. Yet still, the online play seems rigged too, perhaps to make a more "fun" environment. It seems nearly every game my opponent or I get an absurd amount of doubles and/or exactly what is needed to send someone back. Ive gotten to point where I have to quit the game because playing 5 or 6 doubles in a row isnt actually fun. Waste of time and in terrible need to rewrite whatever rigged algorithms run it.

I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so for this game. When playing against the computer there is nothing random about it. It will roll doubles all day for itself and small numbers for me. Waste of time.

I love backgammon but i hate how obvious the rigged computer is. You always get the rolls that no matter what leaves your pieces in the open and the computer always gets exactly what it needs to knock your pieces off the you roll over and over and get the same numbers that cant get your pieces out and the computer will get 4 doubles in a row while youre trying to get out. Honestly this version was pissing me off
